Overview

Sors ("we", "our", "us") builds on-device AI tools. Our flagship product, WhisperCore, processes audio files entirely on your local machine. We are committed to minimizing data collection and maximizing user privacy.

What We Collect

Pre-Beta Registration

When you sign up for WhisperCore pre-beta access, we collect:

  • Email address — to issue your license key and send verification codes

That's it. We do not collect your name, phone number, address, or payment information during pre-beta access.

WhisperCore Desktop Application

The WhisperCore application does not collect, transmit, or store any data outside of your device. Specifically:

  • Audio files are processed 100% on-device using local AI models
  • Transcription output stays on your local filesystem
  • No telemetry, analytics, or usage tracking is sent to our servers
  • The only network call is license verification at startup (checks your license key against our server)

Website

Our website (sorshub.tech) does not use cookies, analytics, or third-party tracking scripts. We use Cloudflare for DNS and CDN, which may log IP addresses per their own privacy policy.

How We Use Your Data

Your email address is used exclusively for:

  • Sending verification codes (Magic Link authentication)
  • License key issuance and management
  • Critical product security notices (if any)

We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.

Data Storage & Retention

Your email and license data are stored on our self-hosted infrastructure. We retain this data for the duration of your pre-beta participation. You can request deletion at any time.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — Request a copy of all data we hold about you
  • Delete — Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Export — Request your data in a machine-readable format
  • Withdraw consent — Unsubscribe from any communications at any time

Security

We use TLS encryption for all communications between your browser and our servers. License verification uses cryptographic signatures. Our infrastructure is self-hosted and not dependent on third-party cloud providers.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
